Hydroquinone is considered the gold standard in skin lightening by dermatologists around the world for over 20 years. It is the only compound that is clinically proven to rapidly and effectively reduce pigmentation of the skin. In 2006 Hydroquinone was classifeid by the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) as safe for topical use in humans as GRASE, generally recognized as safe and effective.
Hydroquinone 20% USP is the active ingredient in HydroGlow. It is the only proven ingredient to effectively lighten and even out the skin-tone by Tyrosinase inhibition. Tyrosinase is the enzyme principally involved in Melanogensis (Melanin production). Find out more about skin lightening. HydroGlow is a serum. A serum is designed to have a smaller amount of ingredients which increases the efficacy of the active. This creates a product that's extremely effortless, easy to wear and above all potent. The advantage of having an organic oil-based product is that it absorbs into the skin very easily and actually prevents drying out. This enhances the lightening process further since hydrated skin is less prone to scarring or post-inflammatory hyper-pigmentation (PIH). The product's base takes approximately 5 minutes to sink in completely and leaves your skin supple and smooth. It's very lightweight so it doesn't make the skin greasy or clog pores. Based on our research, most customers typically see results by Week 4-5 of usage or sooner. A bottle will last approximately 6 weeks for all over face and arm usage. Many experience a reduction in breakouts and future recurrences.
HydroGlow contains Vitamin E or Tocopherols. These are fat soluble naturally occuring compounds that are essential for healthy, glowing skin. Topical application aids in absorbing reactive oxygen species (ROS) which prevents free radical damage to the skin. With application over time, Vitamin E will accumulate in the cell membranes of the epidermis and provide a natural UV-protective component.
We all know its great for your immune system and overall health. But, did you know that it's also great for your skin? It is a natural skin lightener and also a powerful anti-oxidant. It reduces the chance of Post-Inflammatory Hyperpigmentation (PIH) which is a common side effect of using skin lightening products. None of our customers have reported PIH using HydroGlow, 0%.
HydroGlow has been in consistent product development for over 5 years. Three major revisions to our product formula since 2012. The most recent being the reintroduction of our 20% Hydroquinone USP serum and addition of trans-retinoic acid.
